↳ Leo's no list
Things Leo refuses to do.
Leo finds buy-ready companies and writes to them for you. Just as important is what Leo never does, for any customer. Every point below is a check in the code, not a promise in a prompt.
↳ The list
Seven things Leo never does.
- 01
Leo never cold contacts leads in Germany.
Why
German law (UWG §7) requires prior consent for advertising by electronic mail, and German courts count LinkedIn messages as such. When the location, a .de domain or the company's headquarters places a lead in Germany, Leo sends no email, no message and no invitation. The block sits both in the gate and in every send function, so a gap in one is stopped by the other. The check in the code: outbound-law.ts · outbound-guard.ts
- 02
Leo sends nothing without your approval, unless you switch on autonomous mode yourself.
Why
Review mode is the default for every channel: cold email, LinkedIn invitations, messages and replies to people who wrote back. You read every draft before it goes out. You switch on autonomous mode yourself, channel by channel, once you trust what Leo writes. The check in the code: control-dial.ts
- 03
Leo doesn't make up case studies, numbers or results for you.
Why
A proof point only reaches a draft if it is on your website or in your own text. Everything else is stripped in code before the draft is written, and the model's instructions forbid invented customers, percentages and results. A made-up case in a first message costs more trust than it wins. The check in the code: cp-copy.ts · draft.ts
- 04
Leo never claims someone did something they didn't.
Why
Sometimes a colleague commented on the post, not the person Leo is writing to. The copy check then throws out any draft that says "saw you commented" or anything like it, and a new one is written. A false claim about a named person is the worst thing a cold message can contain. The check in the code: copy-guard.ts · copy-guard-jev.ts
- 05
Leo doesn't write again to someone who asked to be left alone.
Why
If someone replies "stop" or asks to be removed by email, the address goes on your block list, which is checked before every send on both channels. If someone says no on LinkedIn, Leo closes the thread and blocks their email address when there is one. You can also block someone yourself, in the portal or in the chat with Leo.The check in the code: inbox.ts · db.ts
- 06
Leo never uses anyone else's LinkedIn account.
Why
Leo searches, reads and sends only through the LinkedIn profiles you connected yourself. If you have none connected, Leo doesn't read through someone else's, and never through another customer's. Your leads, verdicts and drafts belong to your workspace. The check in the code: seat.ts
- 07
Leo doesn't push on when LinkedIn warns your profile.
Why
If LinkedIn shows a restriction, Leo pauses your LinkedIn profile for 14 days and then restarts at half pace. If it happens again within 30 days, the pause is 30 days and the pace a quarter. A third time, the profile stays parked until you switch it back on yourself. Running at full speed right after a warning is how accounts get lost. The check in the code: li-restrict.ts · linkedin-safe.ts
Why a list of no's?
A tool that sends in your name should be trustworthy even when you're not watching. These limits apply to every customer equally. The only one you can change yourself is review mode, and you do that channel by channel. See how Leo works
↳ Questions
Frequently asked questions.
Can I switch off the Germany block?+
No. It applies to every customer and can't be changed in a setting. Replying to someone who wrote to you first, and handling unsubscribes, is allowed and not affected.
What happens to a lead that is blocked?+
It shows in Leads with the reason, for example that Germany requires prior consent. It doesn't disappear, but Leo doesn't cold contact it.
Can Leo send on its own?+
Yes, if you switch on autonomous mode for a channel. The default is review mode, where you approve every draft.
Where can I read more about GDPR?+
Outbound B2B contact relies on legitimate interest, and a data processing agreement is included with every customer. Security and GDPR in the docs.
