↳ What the signal says
Capital is capacity.
A company that just raised money can afford to buy and usually hires and builds. But a round says more about capacity than intent: in an analysis of about a million software purchases, startups that raised a round in 2025 made 25 percent more software purchases than startups whose last round was earlier, but no particular kind of software stood out (Bloomberry 2025). So combine the round with fit and a second signal, such as the company hiring for the role you sell to.
Where can I find companies that just raised funding?+
In news feeds such as tech.eu, EU-Startups and TechCrunch, or in the list on this page, which collects the week's B2B rounds in Europe and the US with a link to the source.
Is a funding round a good buying signal?+
It shows the company can afford to buy, not that it wants what you sell. Combine the round with fit and a second signal, such as the company hiring for the role you sell to.
