Suppression and do not contact

Opt-outs, manual blocks and CRM-based suppression so Leo never contacts the wrong company.

Leo must never contact the wrong company. Three layers make sure of it.

1. Opt-out, always

Every email ends with a simple stop line and carries a standard unsubscribe header. If someone replies stop, or unsubscribes, they are never contacted again. This cannot be turned off.

2. Manual blocks

Say "don't contact X" in the chat, or use Never contact on a draft under To approve. The block is permanent.

3. CRM-based suppression

If you connect your CRM, Leo automatically suppresses:

  • Existing customers, on both the email address and the whole company domain
  • Open deals: companies you already have an active dialogue with
  • Opt-outs: contacts marked as declined or do-not-contact

The suppression list updates when the CRM connection syncs.

Import from other tools

If you have unsubscribe lists from previous sending tools, import them as CSV and Leo respects them from day one.

Free email domains

Domain-level suppression never applies to free email domains like gmail.com, there only the individual address is blocked. Otherwise a single Gmail customer would block every Gmail address.
