Apollo pricing 2026: every plan, credits and the real cost
2026-10-15 · updated 2026-10-15 · 7 min read · Adam Axelsson, founder of Revexa
Apollo has four plans: Free, Basic at $49 per seat a month billed annually ($65 monthly), Professional at $79 ($99 monthly) and Organization at $119 per seat, annual only with at least 3 seats. In practice one founder pays $588 to $780 a year for a Basic seat, and a team of three on Professional pays $2,844 to $3,564 a year before tax and add-ons (our estimate). The traps are credits that expire at the end of every billing cycle, phone numbers at 8 credits each, and terms that renew automatically with no refunds.
Checked on 15 October 2026 against Apollo's pricing page, knowledge base and terms. Prices are in US dollars, excluding tax. Revexa builds Leo, one of the alternatives below.

Add-ons are priced per team: Inbound Essentials $119 a month billed annually ($149 monthly), Inbound Max $639 ($799) and Advanced Dialer, for international, parallel and power dialing, $119 ($149). Apollo labels them "Introductory pricing".
What a credit buys
| Action | Credits |
|---|---|
| Verified email | 1 |
| Phone number | 8 |
| Enrichment | 1 to 8 |
| AI research | 1 per run |
| US dialer | 1 per 30 seconds of a connected call |
| Domain bought through Apollo | 1,500 a year |
| Mailbox bought through Apollo | 300 (Apollo SMTP), 800 (Google Workspace) or 1,500 (Microsoft 365) a month |
Apollo refunds the credit for a verified email that bounces when you send to it from Apollo within 30 days, but "doesn't refund any credits for mobile numbers" (data requests, domains and mailboxes).
What Apollo really costs: three examples
Our estimates, at list price and before tax.
A founder with one seat. Basic costs $588 a year paid upfront, or $780 a year month to month. Its 2,500 monthly credits cover, say, 600 emails and 100 phone numbers (1,400 credits). Buy a Google Workspace mailbox and a domain through Apollo as well and they take 11,100 of Basic's 30,000 yearly credits, about 37%.
A team of three on Professional. $2,844 a year billed annually or $3,564 monthly, with 12,000 pooled credits a month. Add Advanced Dialer for international or parallel calling and the total is $4,272 to $5,352 a year. Calls use credits too: 10 hours of connected US calls a month costs 1,200 credits.
A team of ten. Professional costs $9,480 a year billed annually. Organization costs $14,280, and since every seat must be on the same plan, one person who needs it moves all ten. Add Inbound Essentials for website visitors and Organization comes to $15,708 a year.
Startups under 20 employees affiliated with an Apollo partner can get 50% off Basic or Professional for a year, up to 5 seats (Apollo for Startups).
Hidden costs and terms
- Credits expire. "Unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not carry over", including add-on credits, which "renew automatically each billing cycle until removed" (pricing FAQ).
- Annual means 12 months. Annual plans are paid upfront, "Mid-cycle downgrades on annual plans are not permitted", and switching to monthly waits until the term ends.
- Automatic renewal. Apollo's terms, updated 10 August 2026, say each term "will automatically renew for an additional period equal to the expiring Subscription Term" unless either side gives notice "at least thirty (30) days prior to the end". Apollo may change the fee at renewal, and "all Subscription Fees are non-cancelable and non-refundable".
- Seats. All seats must be on one plan, and "The number of seats may not be decreased during a Term".
- Limits on the cheap plans. Free and Basic send at most 250 emails a day from 1 mailbox per user, and one action can select 25 records on Free, 1,000 on Basic, 2,500 on Professional and 10,000 on Organization.
- Trial. 14 days on Basic or Professional with 75 credits, at most 20 phone numbers and 60 minutes of calls. Organization has no trial (trial).
- Cancelling. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current term, and Apollo warns "you may not be able to rejoin Apollo at your current plan price" (manage your plan). Contacts you synced to your CRM during the term stay usable internally under a perpetual license in the terms.
Third-party price data
Vendr, which bases its figures on anonymized contract data, puts the median Apollo buyer at $19,000 a year across 101 purchases, ranging from $4,284 to $45,000, with buyers "saving 30% on average" (last updated February 2026). That is about 20 Professional seats at list price (our calculation), so it describes team contracts, not a founder's bill. Its plan descriptions are out of date ("unlimited email credits"), so use only the price data.
Cheaper alternatives
Ordered by starting price: the lowest monthly US dollar price listed for the cheapest paid plan, whatever the billing term. Free plans don't count, and ties are alphabetical. Apollo is already cheap per seat, so each tool below is cheaper for one specific job. Prices checked on 15 October 2026.
- RocketReach. Essentials costs $19 a month billed annually ($229 a year) or $39 monthly, for email lookups only (pricing). Right if one person needs verified emails; wrong if you need phone numbers, which start on Pro at $52 a month billed annually.
- Unify. $20 per seat a month, billed monthly, with 800 credits per seat; the Free plan covers up to 3 seats (pricing). Right if reps want contact data, multichannel sequences and a click-to-call dialer; wrong if you need website intent or signal-triggered automations, which sit on the custom, annually billed Business plan.
- Smartlead. Base costs $32.50 a month billed yearly or $39 monthly, priced on send volume, not seats or mailboxes (pricing). Right if you already have contacts and need cheap sending; wrong if you need data too, since verified emails are a $59 a month add-on.
- Lusha. Starter costs $37.45 a month billed yearly or $49.90 monthly for one seat and 400 credits a month; an email costs 1 credit and a phone number 5 (pricing). Right for verified emails and phone numbers on a short list; wrong if you need hundreds of phone numbers a month, since 400 credits buy at most 80.
- Leo by Revexa (ours). $99 a month in the US, €89 in Europe and 999 SEK in Sweden, excluding VAT, with 7 days free and no lock-in (pricing). Right if you want an agent to watch buying signals and draft LinkedIn and email messages you approve; wrong if you want a database to export lists from, or a dialer.

Apollo in Europe: GDPR and where the data is
- Location. Apollo says the personal data it processes "is hosted in the United States", with EU and UK transfers under Standard Contractual Clauses, and that it is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, ISO 27001 and SOC 2 (processing notice).
- Legal basis. For people in its database, Apollo relies on "our legitimate interests, as well as those of our customers", and names an EU representative.
- Where the data comes from. Besides public sources and data providers, Apollo's "Data Contributor Network" draws on customers who use features such as Email Finder or Open Tracker.
- Your own outreach. Emailing EU contacts needs your own lawful basis, usually legitimate interest under GDPR art. 6.1 f, and Germany's UWG §7 requires prior consent for advertising email. See our GDPR guide. This is not legal advice.
Common questions
Is there a free Apollo plan?
Yes. Free includes 75 credits per seat a month, 2 sequences and up to 250 emails a day from a Gmail account, and after 100 days of active use it is limited to one seat.
How do Apollo credits work?
The team shares one pool, granted upfront each billing cycle: 1 credit per verified email, 8 per phone number, 1 per AI research run and 1 per 30 seconds of US calling. Unused credits expire when the cycle ends.
Can I pay for Apollo monthly?
Yes, on Basic ($65) and Professional ($99) per seat, and a cancellation takes effect at the end of the month. Apollo advertises 24% off for annual billing (20% on Professional, by our calculation); Organization is annual only.
Can I get a refund from Apollo?
Usually not. Apollo's terms say fees are non-cancelable and non-refundable, with "no refunds for partially used Services or service units". To leave an annual plan, give notice at least 30 days before it renews.
