lemlist alternatives 2026: 12 tools compared by price
2026-10-16 · updated 2026-10-16 · 11 min read · Adam Axelsson, founder of Revexa
Teams look for lemlist alternatives mainly over price: LinkedIn, calls and SMS need Multichannel at $109 per user a month ($87 billed yearly), the $69 Email plan includes no data credits, and nothing is refunded for a month or year already begun. For email alone, Smartlead from $39 a month and Instantly from $47 cost less; for LinkedIn and email in one sequence, SalesRobot starts at $59 a month per LinkedIn account, La Growth Machine at $70 per identity, Dripify at $79 and Expandi at $99, all less billed annually. Check hosting before you switch: lemlist says it stores all data in France, though its DPA lists some US sub-processors, while most alternatives store data in the US or don't say where.
Checked on 16 October 2026 against each vendor's pricing, help, privacy and terms pages. Revexa builds Leo, one of the tools below, so read with that in mind.
The table is ordered by starting price: the lowest monthly US dollar price a buyer in the US sees for the cheapest paid plan, whatever the billing term, with euro-only prices converted at the ECB rate of 15 October 2026 ($1.1208 per euro), the latest when we checked. Free plans don't count, ties are alphabetical, and lemlist is the last row.
Why teams look for lemlist alternatives
From lemlist's own pages (plan by plan in lemlist pricing 2026):
- LinkedIn is priced per user. The Email plan covers 50,000 emails a month with unlimited users for $69, or $55 billed yearly. LinkedIn, calls and SMS need Multichannel at $109 per user a month, or $87 billed yearly (pricing), so five people pay $435 to $545 a month (our calculation).
- Data is extra. The credit guide lists "No included credits" for the Email plan; at $0.01 a credit, a verified email costs 5 credits and a phone number 20 (credits).
- LinkedIn runs in your browser. lemlist's Chrome extension "is required for LinkedIn automation" (help center).
- No refunds. lemlist "will not refund any unused fees paid for a month or year already begun, even on a prorated basis" (terms).
- The price has risen. Multichannel cost $99 per user a month, or $79 billed yearly, in January 2026 (archive).
In lemlist's favour: it says all data is stored "on servers located exclusively in France and hosted by OVH" (GDPR), though its DPA (v1.4.2) lists some US sub-processors, such as Intercom and optional AI providers (DPA); the Email plan has no per-user price, and the trial needs no card.

The alternatives one by one
1. Waalaxy
French and LinkedIn first. Best for: a founder's first LinkedIn campaigns. Wrong choice if: you need email or a trial without a card: only Business sends email, and the 14-day trial needs a card, with "No reminder is sent before your first charge" (help). Price: Pro €19 per user a month billed yearly or €39 monthly; prices vary by country (pricing).
2. Smartlead
Cold email priced by contacts and sends, not seats. Best for: email from your own list. Wrong choice if: you want LinkedIn steps; they need a separate tool such as HeyReach. Price: Base $39 a month or $32.50 billed yearly, for 2,000 contacts and 6,000 emails a month (pricing).
3. Instantly
Cold email with unlimited mailboxes; lead data costs extra. Best for: one sender with many inboxes. Wrong choice if: a team needs access: invites need Hypergrowth ($97 a month) or a CRM plan, not Growth alone (help). Price: Growth $47 a month or $37.60 billed yearly, for 5,000 emails (pricing).
4. SalesRobot
LinkedIn and email sequences, priced per LinkedIn account. Best for: one account on a budget. Wrong choice if: you run several campaigns: Basic allows 1 active campaign and 20 connection requests a day. Price: Basic $59 a month or $39 billed annually (pricing).
5. Apollo
A contact database with sequences and a dialer. Best for: teams short of data. Wrong choice if: you want LinkedIn automated: "Apollo doesn't automatically complete LinkedIn tasks for you" (help). Price: free plan; Basic $49 per seat a month billed annually or $65 monthly (pricing).
6. Reply.io
Email, LinkedIn, calls, SMS and WhatsApp, plus an AI agent, Jason AI, from $500 a month billed annually. Best for: every channel in one tool. Wrong choice if: you want LinkedIn on the cheap plan: on Email Volume it costs $69 a month per account. Price: Email Volume $49 per user a month billed annually or $59 monthly; Multichannel $89 or $99 (pricing).
7. Dripify
Cloud LinkedIn automation with email steps and 100 email finder credits a month. Best for: a solo seller. Wrong choice if: one seat should run several accounts: "Each Dripify seat connects one LinkedIn account". Price: Pro $79 per user a month or $59 billed annually (pricing).
8. Overloop
A Belgian tool with a prospect database, email and LinkedIn. Best for: small teams that want data included. Wrong choice if: you want EU hosting: its privacy policy lists AWS in the US for "All data" (privacy). Price: Starter $69 per user a month, or $59 with a yearly commitment, with 250 credits (pricing, plans).
9. La Growth Machine
French, LinkedIn first, with email in the same sequence. Best for: LinkedIn-first teams in Europe. Wrong choice if: you need more than 250 enriched leads a month on Basic. Price: Basic €60 ($70) per identity a month, or €50 ($60) billed annually (pricing).
10. HeyReach
LinkedIn outreach from many sender accounts; users are free. Best for: agencies. Wrong choice if: you want email in the same tool. Price: Growth $79 per sender a month or $759 a year; Agency $999 a month for 25 senders (pricing).
11. Expandi
Cloud LinkedIn sequences with email from your own mailbox. Best for: one seat per rep. Wrong choice if: you want to pay only for active accounts: a disconnected seat is still billed (help). Price: Business $99 per LinkedIn account a month, or $79 billed annually and paid upfront (pricing).
12. Leo by Revexa (ours)
A buying-signal agent: it builds your ideal customer profile from your website, watches signals such as hiring, funding and engagement with competitors' LinkedIn posts, and drafts messages you approve by default. It pauses on a LinkedIn warning. Best for: small B2B teams without a list. Wrong choice if: you want to build sequences yourself, need a lead database, calls or SMS, or send thousands of cold emails a month from your own list. Price: $99 a month in the US, €89 in Europe, 999 SEK in Sweden, excluding VAT; 7 days free, no lock-in (pricing).
LinkedIn: what no alternative can promise
Section 8.2 of LinkedIn's User Agreement bans "bots or other unauthorized automated methods" to "add or download contacts, send or redirect messages", and LinkedIn says members who use such tools "risk having their accounts restricted or shut down" (LinkedIn Help). That covers lemlist and every alternative here that sends on LinkedIn, Leo included.
Vendors' terms leave the risk with you: HeyReach "IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ADVERSE ACTION TAKEN AGAINST THE CUSTOMER BY A THIRD-PARTY PLATFORM", and SalesRobot says using it "may not comply with LinkedIn's User Agreement" (HeyReach, SalesRobot). Some marketing promises more: La Growth Machine says its proxies make it "impossible for LinkedIn to detect automation", and Expandi sells "Campaign Types that Allow Bypassing Outreach Limits" (La Growth Machine, Expandi). We found no way to verify such claims. Lower-risk habits: LinkedIn outreach without restrictions.
lemlist alternatives in Europe: where the data is
From the vendors' own documents:
- EU servers. La Growth Machine's DPA says "All servers are located in the EU", though some sub-processors work outside it (DPA). lemlist's own privacy policy allows transfers outside the EU under Standard Contractual Clauses, and its DPA lists some US sub-processors (privacy, DPA).
- The US. Instantly "generally" stores data there, Reply.io processes there "as a general rule", HeyReach's "primary processing facilities are in the United States of America", Apollo hosts there, SalesRobot may store data "in the United States and other countries", and Overloop, a Belgian company, lists sub-processors for all data in the US and Ireland (Instantly, Reply.io, HeyReach, Apollo, SalesRobot, Overloop).
- Elsewhere or not published. Smartlead, an Australian company, keeps EU and UK data "inside and outside the European Union and the UK" (DPA). Waalaxy and Expandi don't say where app data is stored, and Dripify names AWS but no region (Expandi, Dripify). Waalaxy's terms say it "does not process personal data on your behalf", so they contain no processor agreement (terms).
- Your duties. You need a lawful basis, usually legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6.1 f), and Germany's UWG §7 requires prior consent for advertising email (cold email laws by country). This is not legal advice.

Common questions
What is the cheapest alternative to lemlist?
For email only, Smartlead Base at $39 a month or $32.50 billed yearly. For LinkedIn only, Waalaxy Pro at €19 per user a month billed yearly. For LinkedIn and email in one sequence, SalesRobot Basic at $59 per LinkedIn account a month or $39 billed annually.
Which lemlist alternatives have LinkedIn and email in one sequence?
Dripify, Expandi, La Growth Machine, Overloop, Reply.io Multichannel, SalesRobot and Waalaxy Business. HeyReach is LinkedIn only and sends email through Instantly, Smartlead or EmailBison.
Does lemlist need a Chrome extension for LinkedIn?
Yes: lemlist's help center says the extension "is required for LinkedIn automation". Dripify, Expandi and Waalaxy run your LinkedIn session in their cloud instead, and LinkedIn's User Agreement bans automation either way.
Which lemlist alternative stores data in the EU?
La Growth Machine's DPA says all its servers are in the EU, though some sub-processors work outside it. Instantly, Reply.io, HeyReach and Apollo name the US, and Waalaxy, Expandi and Dripify publish no storage location. lemlist says it stores all data in France, though its DPA lists some US sub-processors.
Will a lemlist alternative keep my LinkedIn account safe?
No tool can promise that. LinkedIn's User Agreement bans automated invitations and messages, vendors' terms leave the risk with you, and HeyReach writes that "There is no approved outreach automation tool". Be wary of claims that LinkedIn cannot detect a tool.
