Reply.io alternatives 2026: 10 compared by price and fit

2026-10-20 · updated 2026-10-20 · 8 min read · Adam Axelsson, founder of Revexa

The usual reasons to leave Reply.io are in its own price list and terms: LinkedIn costs $69 per account a month on the Email Volume plan, the 5,000-contact tier rose from $69 to $89 per user a month (billed annually) in late August or September 2025, Jason AI starts at $500 a month billed annually, and fees are non-refundable. The cheapest alternatives are Smartlead ($32.50 a month billed yearly), Saleshandy ($34) and Instantly ($37.60) for email; Apollo ($49 per seat billed annually) if you also want contact data; Klenty and lemlist ($50 and $55, unlimited users) if a team shares one plan; and AiSDR, at $1.50 per person contacted with no monthly fee, instead of Jason AI.

Checked on 20 October 2026 against each vendor's pricing page as a US visitor sees it, Reply.io's terms and help center, Trustpilot and the Wayback Machine. US dollars, excluding tax. Revexa builds Leo, one of the tools below.

Order: the lowest monthly price a US buyer sees for the cheapest paid plan that runs sequences or an outreach agent, any billing term. AiSDR has no monthly fee, so it is placed at about $225 a month, its lowest pace of 5 people a day (our estimate). Ties are alphabetical, and tools without a list price come last.

Why teams look for Reply.io alternatives

Reply.io is cheap to start, at $49 per user a month billed annually or $59 monthly for Email Volume (pricing). These are the friction points, with sources (Reply.io pricing has every plan):

  • Channels cost extra on the entry plan. Email Volume includes email; LinkedIn automation costs $69 per account a month and calls and SMS $29 per account. Multichannel includes them, at $89 per user a month billed annually or $99 monthly (pricing file).
  • Prices changed in 2025. On 27 August 2025 the 5,000-contact tier of Email Volume cost $69 per user a month billed annually and 10,000 contacts cost $79 per user (archive). By 28 September 2025, 5,000 contacts cost $89 per user and 10,000 a flat $159 for unlimited users (archive). The 5,000 tier became dearer for every team size; the 10,000 tier became dearer for one or two users and cheaper for three or more (our calculation). Jason AI's cheapest annual tier, $300 a month for 500 active contacts, was on the page on 4 August 2025 (archive) and gone by 22 August (archive); the 1,000-contact tier cost $500 before and after. The price list on 20 October 2026 matches September 2025.
  • No refunds, and AI plans cancel through support. Fees "are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in the applicable order form", and "There is no grace period for cancellation after a renewal charge has been processed" (terms, updated 2 July 2026). Other plans are cancelled under Settings, Plans & Billing, but for the AI SDR or Agency plan you contact support (help center).
  • Mixed reviews at the margin. Trustpilot shows 4.6 out of 5 from 268 reviews; of all 268, 79% give five stars and 13% one or two stars (98 of the reviews are from the last 12 months). The low ratings from 2025 and 2026 mention refunds, Jason AI's copy ("clear AI slop", April 2026), a HubSpot sync that is "not a native bi-directional integration" (November 2025) and slow support. A three-star review from 29 September 2026 found no cancel button and kept paying for more than six months without using the service.
  • Data in the US. Reply.io processes personal data "as a general rule" in the United States (DPA, updated 3 July 2026).

  • Instantly. The 1,000 uploaded contacts count every contact uploaded to your campaigns, whether active, paused or draft; AI agents run on a separate Credits subscription. On 20 October 2026 its pricing page alternated, for US visitors, with a bundle-only page from $85 a month.
  • Apollo. The free plan includes 2 sequences; Basic adds unlimited sequences, CRM integrations and a US dialer. See Apollo pricing.

  • HubSpot. Sequences start on Professional; the prospecting agent costs $1 per lead it recommends outreach for, from Starter.
  • Leo by Revexa (ours). A buying-signal agent: it builds your ideal customer profile from your website, watches signals such as hiring, funding and new executives, finds the right person and drafts LinkedIn messages and emails in your voice. You approve or skip each draft in the portal, Slack or iMessage, and CRM customers and open deals in HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Upsales or Close are kept out of outreach. 7 days free, no lock-in (pricing).
  • AiSDR. You review and approve the campaign before launch and are charged daily for the people contacted that day; research, lists and writing are included in the $1.50. Teams contacting 1,000 or more people a month can get a Team plan, priced on request with up to 40% lower price per contact, on a quarterly or annual contract.
  • Outreach. Only the Outreach Voice dialer has list prices, from $10 per user a month (US Standard).

Common questions

What is the best alternative to Reply.io?

It depends on why you are leaving. For email only, Smartlead or Instantly; for data plus sequences, Apollo; for one plan shared by many users, Klenty or lemlist; for an AI agent without a monthly minimum, AiSDR.

What is the cheapest alternative to Reply.io?

Smartlead Base costs $32.50 a month billed yearly or $39 monthly, Saleshandy Starter $34 or $41, and Instantly Growth $37.60 or $47. Reply.io's own Email Volume plan starts at $49 per user billed annually or $59 monthly.

Is there a cheaper alternative to Jason AI?

AiSDR charges $1.50 per person contacted with no monthly fee, against Jason AI's $500 a month billed annually or $800 monthly for 1,000 active contacts. Past roughly 330 people a month, Jason AI Starter billed annually costs less than AiSDR's pay-as-you-go price (our calculation).

Did Reply.io raise its prices?

Yes, for some tiers. Archived copies of the pricing page show 5,000 active contacts on Email Volume at $69 per user a month billed annually on 27 August 2025 and $89 on 28 September 2025. Jason AI's cheapest tier ($300 a month for 500 active contacts) was gone by 22 August 2025, so Jason AI now starts at $500 a month.

Can I get a refund from Reply.io?

Usually not. The terms say fees are non-refundable except where the law or an order form says otherwise, with no grace period after a renewal charge. Cancel before the next billing date; AI SDR and Agency plans are cancelled through support.
