AI GTM and go-to-market

Warmly vs Common Room 2026: after the HubSpot and Zoom deals

2026-10-15 · 8 min read · Adam Axelsson, founder of Revexa

Pick Warmly if your main goal is turning website traffic, mostly from the US, into meetings: it starts at $10,000 a year or $4,875 a quarter, identifies visitors at person level outside Europe, and includes AI chat, an AI call agent and signal-triggered outbound. Pick Common Room if you are a larger or technical, product-led team whose buying signals come from communities, GitHub, product usage and the CRM, and you can pay $2,500 a month billed annually and have RevOps staff to run it. Both were still sold standalone on 15 October 2026, after HubSpot agreed to buy Warmly and Zoom bought Common Room.

Revexa builds Leo, an AI agent in the same market, so read with that in mind. This comparison is about the tools in the title.

What each tool is

Warmly identifies who visits your website, at person level outside Europe, and acts on it with an AI chatbot, an Autopilot Agent that qualifies and follows up, and an AI Call Agent (AI Call Agent). Its Coldly database lists 220M+ people with work emails and direct dials "at no additional cost" (Coldly). AI Web-Deanonymization starts at $10,000 a year, or $4,875 per quarter. Inbound Chat is $20,000 a year and AI Inbound Autopilot $30,000 a year (Warmly pricing).

Common Room collects buying signals from 50+ sources, including website visits, product data, GitHub, Slack and Discord, and adds a "400M+ contact directory" with waterfall enrichment (Common Room integrations, Prospector). Its RoomieAI agents research accounts, draft outreach and prioritize (RoomieAI). Essential costs $2,500 a month billed annually, with 5 seats and up to 100k contacts. Advanced and Enterprise are custom (Common Room pricing).

Where Warmly is better

  • Cheaper start and a shorter commitment. Warmly starts at $10,000 a year, or $4,875 per quarter if you want to try it first (four quarters add up to $19,500). Common Room's Essential plan works out at $30,000 a year (Warmly pricing, Common Room pricing).
  • Converting visitors on the site. Warmly has an AI chatbot, live chat and popups, and its AI Call Agent answers inbound leads by phone, SMS, WhatsApp and email. Common Room's product menu lists no website chat (AI Call Agent, Common Room home).
  • Person-level identification is the core product. Warmly claims 20 to 40% person-level resolution on B2B traffic. Common Room identifies companies by default and caps de-anonymization at 1k a month on Essential and Advanced (Warmly website intent, Common Room pricing).
  • A close fit for HubSpot users. HubSpot was Warmly's first integration, with 223 paying connected customers at the time of the deal (CMSWire, 30 June 2026).

Where Common Room is better

  • Broader community and product signals. Its 50+ sources include GitHub, Discord, Slack, Reddit and Stack Overflow, and it can pull product data from Snowflake, BigQuery or Segment (Common Room integrations).
  • Sales execution through Zoom. Engage (sequencing), Dial (Zoom Auto Dialer), Coach and Forecast launched on 16 September 2026, built on Zoom Revenue Accelerator's conversation intelligence (Revenue OS post).
  • Enterprise governance. SSO, SAML and SCIM, role-based permissions, territories and audit trails, plus an MCP server on all plans (Common Room pricing).
  • A more cautious default for EU visitors. Website tracking "does not track any PII" by default, and people are tied to visits only through forms, logins or tracked links (Common Room docs FAQ).

Limitations and criticisms

Warmly

  • Its own docs admit gaps. Warmly says its data is "not 100% coverage or 100% accurate" and that "Our customers will find inaccuracies". It gives a company ID rate of about 60% and a contact ID rate of about 45%, lower for non-US traffic (Warmly help).
  • Pages that contradict each other. Person-level rates are about 15% on the startups page and 20 to 40% on the web-intent page. The product FAQ says "We don't use fingerprinting", while a help article describes Demandbase fingerprinting as a fallback.
  • Uncertainty after the deal. Contracts and pricing are unchanged "today", but no roadmap or sunset date has been published, and Salesforce users are not addressed (Warmly blog, CX Today).

Common Room

  • Price floor and caps. The minimum is $30,000 a year with no free plan. Website de-anonymization is capped at 1k a month below Enterprise, and product signals are an add-on except on Enterprise (Common Room pricing).
  • Two price lists. Engage, Coach and Forecast are Zoom Revenue Accelerator features priced per user: Essentials $66 and Premium $99.99 per user a month, billed annually. Common Room's own plan table does not list them, and whether Essential includes Engage and Dial without that subscription is not public (ZRA pricing).
  • No integration timeline. UC Today noted that "Zoom hasn't published an integration timeline" (UC Today, 6 July 2026).

Both

  • EU cookie consent is your job. Warmly says the customer is the controller and must handle ePrivacy cookie consent, and Common Room provides no cookie banner (Warmly compliance, Common Room docs).

What changed in 2025 and 2026

  • 4 February 2025: Warmly raised a $6M Series A+ led by RTP Global (VC News Daily).
  • 27 February 2025: Common Room launched its RoomieAI Capture research agent (Common Room blog).
  • 30 June 2026: Warmly "entered into an agreement to be acquired by HubSpot", terms undisclosed, with existing contracts and pricing to "remain unchanged" (Warmly blog, CMSWire).
  • 2 July 2026: Zoom signed a definitive agreement to acquire Common Room, terms undisclosed, to bring buyer intelligence into Zoom Revenue Accelerator (Zoom IR). Zoom says "The transaction closed in July 2026", without an exact day (Zoom blog).
  • 5 August 2026: HubSpot's Q2 quarterly report did not mention Warmly (SEC 10-Q). A HubSpot for Startups page now says "Warmly just got acquired by HubSpot" (HubSpot), but no close date or price has been published.
  • 16 September 2026: In a post titled "This Is Revenue OS", Common Room CEO Linda Lian launched Buying Committee, AI Scoring, Dial, Engage, Ads, Coach and Forecast (Common Room blog).

Which one should you choose?

  • Most of your inbound traffic is from the US and you want it turned into meetings: Warmly.
  • Your buyers show up in communities, GitHub, Slack, Discord or your product: Common Room.
  • Your budget is under $30,000 a year: only Warmly has an entry price below that.
  • Most of your visitors are in Europe: neither names individual EU visitors.
  • You run Salesforce: both integrate with it today, but Warmly has said nothing about Salesforce users after the HubSpot deal.
  • You already use Zoom Revenue Accelerator: Common Room's new Engage, Dial, Coach and Forecast build on it.

Another option

If you want the outreach done for you on buying signals with approval before anything is sent, agents such as Leo by Revexa ($99/month in the US, €89 in Europe, 999 SEK in Sweden, 7 days free) take a different approach. Plans are on the pricing page.
