Best AI sales tools 2026: 18 compared by job and price
2026-10-20 · updated 2026-10-20 · 10 min read · Adam Axelsson, founder of Revexa
The best AI sales tools depend on the job you give the AI. To find accounts with buying signals, HubSpot's prospecting agent ($1 per lead on Sales Hub Starter, from $7 per seat billed annually, $20 at list price) and Unify ($20 per seat) are the cheapest ways in; for research and enrichment, Apollo ($49 per seat billed annually) and Clay ($167 a month billed annually); for writing and sending, Instantly ($37.60 billed yearly) and lemlist ($55); for calls, Aircall ($30 per license billed annually, 3 licenses minimum); and for call analysis, Fireflies ($10 per seat billed annually) and Avoma ($19). Gong, Nooks, Orum and ZoomInfo publish no prices: Vendr's buyer data puts their median contracts between $21,600 and $55,359 a year.
Checked on 20 October 2026 against each vendor's pricing page as a US visitor sees it, with Vendr for tools without list prices. US dollars, excluding tax; European prices are noted where they differ. Revexa builds Leo, one of the tools below.
Order within each job: the lowest monthly price a US buyer sees for the cheapest paid plan with the AI feature described, any billing term. Free plans don't count, ties are alphabetical, and tools without a list price come last. AiSDR has no monthly fee, so it is placed at about $225 a month, its lowest pace of 5 people a day; Warmly's $10,000 a year counts as about $833 a month (our calculations).
Five jobs AI does in sales
| Job | What the AI does | Tools compared | Lowest published entry price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Find accounts and buying signals | Watches hiring, funding, job changes and site visits, then picks accounts | HubSpot prospecting agent, Unify, Leo, Warmly | $7 per seat billed annually (HubSpot Starter; $20 at list price) |
| Research and enrichment | Finds contacts, fills in company data, researches accounts on the web | Apollo, Clay, ZoomInfo | $49 per seat billed annually (Apollo) |
| Write and send | Drafts sequences and replies, or runs whole campaigns | Instantly, lemlist, AiSDR, Reply.io's Jason AI | $37.60 billed yearly (Instantly) |
| Calls and dialing | Skips voicemail, dials several lines, transcribes and summarizes calls | Aircall, Nooks, Orum | $30 per license billed annually (Aircall) |
| Call analysis and forecasting | Summarizes and scores conversations, predicts the forecast | Fireflies, Avoma, Gong, Salesloft | $10 per seat billed annually (Fireflies) |
In each table, "Best for" and "Wrong choice if" are our judgement; the rest is from the vendors' own pages, not independent tests.
1. Find accounts and buying signals
| Tool | Price from (billing) | What the AI does, per the vendor | Best for | Wrong choice if |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| HubSpot prospecting agent | $1 per lead it recommends outreach for, on Sales Hub Starter ($7/seat/mo billed annually, $20 at list price) or higher | Monitors signals such as funding rounds, leadership changes and site visits, scores accounts against your ICP, drafts emails in each rep's voice | Teams already on HubSpot | HubSpot is not your CRM |
| Unify | $20/seat/mo billed monthly (Base) | Job change and hiring signals, AI email copywriting, multichannel sequences | One rep who wants signals, data and sequences cheaply | You need website intent: it is on the custom Business plan |
| Leo by Revexa (ours) | $99/mo; €89 in Europe, 999 SEK in Sweden; excl. VAT | Builds your ICP from your website, watches hiring, funding, headcount growth, new executives, LinkedIn engagement and competitors' tools, finds the right person and drafts LinkedIn messages and emails; you approve each draft in the portal, Slack or iMessage by default (pricing) | Small B2B teams that want signal-based outreach approved by a person | You need calls or SMS: it works on LinkedIn and email |
| Warmly | $10,000/yr billed annually (AI Web-Deanonymization); quarterly billing costs more | Identifies website visitors (contacts and companies); a $10,000/yr GTM Signals Package adds intent, hiring and funding signals | Teams with a lot of website traffic | You want a monthly plan |
HubSpot lets you choose "Review emails" or "Send without review" for the agent (knowledge base). Warmly announced on 30 June 2026 that it "has entered into an agreement to be acquired by HubSpot" (Warmly). More tools for this job: best signal-based outbound tools.
2. Research and enrichment
| Tool | Price from (billing) | What the AI does, per the vendor | Best for | Wrong choice if |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Apollo | $49/seat/mo billed annually ($65 monthly) | AI Research, AI Assistant and pre-meeting AI insights on Apollo's own contact and account data | Small teams that want data and sequences in one tool | You need hosting outside the US |
| Clay | $167/mo billed annually ($185 monthly), Launch, unlimited seats | Claygent, an AI agent with web research; enrichment from 150+ providers; job change and other signals | Teams with a GTM engineer who build their own workflows | You need CRM sync, which starts on Growth ($446 billed annually) |
| ZoomInfo | Not published; Vendr median $33,500/yr | Copilot: AI account prioritization on B2B signals, AI-generated account summaries | Larger teams that want data, signals and AI in one contract | You want a published price |
Clay has a second meter: data credits buy data and AI from Clay's marketplace, on top of actions (Clay pricing). ZoomInfo's Vendr figure covers 1,577 purchases, from $7,240 to $156,042 a year (Vendr).
3. Write and send
| Tool | Price from (billing) | What the AI does, per the vendor | Best for | Wrong choice if |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Instantly | $37.60/mo billed yearly ($47 monthly) | AI Sequence Writer on Growth; AI Sales and Reply agents on a separate Credits plan, 5 credits per lead or reply | Email at volume on a budget | You want LinkedIn steps: its sending plans are email plans |
| lemlist | $55/mo billed yearly ($69 monthly), unlimited users | lemAgent, plus signal, enrichment and messaging agents | Teams that want AI agents and later LinkedIn | Every rep needs LinkedIn: Multichannel is $87 per user billed yearly |
| AiSDR | $1.50 per person contacted, no monthly fee | Ami, an agent that builds and runs the campaign; AI-researched messages; replies classified and handled | Trying an AI agent without a contract | You contact 1,000 people a month: $1,500 pay as you go (our calculation), or a Team plan (up to 40% lower per contact) on a quarterly or annual contract |
| Reply.io Jason AI | $500/mo billed annually ($800 monthly) for 1,000 active contacts | AI personalization, AI-generated responses, intent signals, real-time contact search | Reply.io customers who want an agent | You want to try an agent month to month cheaply |
AiSDR asks you to review and approve the campaign before launch. On 20 October 2026 Instantly's pricing page alternated, for US visitors, with a bundle-only page from $85 a month. For more agents of this kind, see AI SDR tools compared, and for the two sequencers, lemlist vs Instantly.
4. Calls and dialing

| Tool | Price from (billing) | What the AI does, per the vendor | Best for | Wrong choice if |
|---|---|---|---|---|

| Avoma | $19/recorder seat/mo billed annually, Startup | AI notes and follow-up emails; Conversation Intelligence and Revenue Intelligence (with forecasting) are $29 add-ons each | Teams that want notes now and forecasting later | You need more than 25 paid seats on Startup |
| Gong | Not published: per-user licenses plus a platform fee; Vendr median $55,359/yr | Conversation intelligence, Gong Forecast with "AI-guided forecasts" | Mid-size and large teams that coach from calls | You are a small team: the platform fee comes on top of seats |
| Salesloft | Not published; Vendr median $30,740/yr | Conversation intelligence and Clari Forecast next to cadences | Teams that want engagement and forecasting from one vendor | You only need call notes |
Salesloft and Clari completed their merger on 3 December 2025 and have used one brand, Salesloft, since 2 September 2026; Clari Forecast keeps its name.
How to put a stack together
Our judgement, from the prices above:
- Founder or first seller: one tool that finds accounts (HubSpot's agent if you run HubSpot, otherwise another tool from job 1), one way to send, and a free note taker.
- Team of five to twenty: add data (Apollo, or Clay with a GTM engineer), a phone system with AI notes such as Aircall, and Fireflies or Avoma for calls.
- Fifty sellers or more: this is where Gong, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, Nooks and Orum, all priced by quote, start to make sense.
AI sales tools in Europe
- Where data sits. New Gong customers "can decide to store their data in data centers in either the US or EU", with the US as default (Gong). HubSpot assigns new paying customers a data center, one of them in the EU, by the location of their sign-up IP address (HubSpot), Apollo says the personal data it processes is "hosted in the United States" (Apollo), and lemlist says it stores data on servers in France.
- Who presses send. Under GDPR, cold B2B outreach usually rests on legitimate interest (art. 6.1 f), and Germany's UWG §7 requires prior consent for advertising email (cold email laws by country). An agent that sends without review sends under your name, so check its settings before you switch it on. This is not legal advice.

Common questions
What are the best AI sales tools in 2026?
It depends on the job: HubSpot's prospecting agent, Unify and Warmly are among the tools that find accounts; Apollo, Clay and ZoomInfo research them; Instantly, lemlist, AiSDR and Jason AI write and send; Aircall, Nooks and Orum handle calls; Fireflies, Avoma, Gong and Salesloft analyze calls and forecast.
Which AI sales tools are free?
Apollo's free plan includes AI Research and 2 sequences, Clay's free plan includes Claygent and 500 actions a month, Unify is free for up to 3 seats, and Fireflies is free with limited AI summaries. HubSpot's prospecting agent needs Starter or higher.
Do AI sales tools send messages without approval?
Some can. HubSpot's prospecting agent offers "Review emails" or "Send without review", and AiSDR asks you to approve each campaign before launch. Check the default before you connect a mailbox.
How much do AI sales tools cost?
From free plans and $7 to $10 per seat a month (HubSpot Starter and Fireflies Pro, billed annually) to five-figure annual contracts: Vendr's medians are $21,600 a year for Orum, $30,105 for Nooks, $33,500 for ZoomInfo and $55,359 for Gong.
What is the difference between an AI sales tool and an AI SDR?
An AI sales tool does one job, such as research, dialing or call notes. An AI SDR is a category of agents that try to run outbound end to end, such as AiSDR and Jason AI; we compare them in AI SDR tools compared.
