Cognism pricing 2026: packages, credits and what teams pay
2026-10-15 · updated 2026-10-15 · 6 min read · Adam Axelsson, founder of Revexa
Cognism publishes no prices: its pricing page offers two packages, Standard and Pro, each with 5 seats included, priced on a quote. Cognism's own blog gives Standard "starting at $12,750" and Pro "starting at $17,000", without saying per year. Read as annual, that is at least $2,550 per seat on Standard and $3,400 on Pro, which you need for intent data and on-demand mobile verification (our estimate). The trap is the package: a team of two still pays for five seats.
Checked on 15 October 2026 against Cognism's own pricing page, blog, privacy policy, compliance page and trust center. Because Cognism lists no prices, every figure below names its source. Revexa builds Leo, one of the alternatives listed below.

Cognism says its pricing "is tailored based on the product you need, your team setup and how you plan to use the platform". Pro's intent data is Bombora's Company Surge, with "up to 12 intent topics from a library of over 11,000 options". The site lists no trial; it offers a free data sample instead.
How Cognism credits work
- "1 credit = 1 revealed contact", and viewing a contact you have already revealed is free.
- "Each seat includes an allocation of credits", and more can be bought "at any point"; neither the allocation nor the price of extra credits is published.
- A revealed contact stays usable for the contract: "A credit is only used again if that contact changes jobs."
- The same credits work in the prospecting platform, Enrich and the API.
What Cognism really costs: three examples
Our estimates, reading the blog's starting prices as annual (Cognism doesn't say), before tax and negotiation.
A team of two. The smallest package has 5 seats, so Standard from $12,750 works out to at least $6,375 per person who actually uses it.
Five SDRs on Pro. Intent data, the premium mobile filter and on-demand mobile verification need Pro, from $17,000: $3,400 per seat a year, or about $283 per seat a month.
The same five seats on a list-priced tool. Five Apollo Basic seats cost $2,940 a year billed annually, and five Kaspr Starter users the same, at $49 each a month. Both publish prices, but their data differs from Cognism's, so test coverage on your own market before comparing.
Hidden costs and terms
- Five seats minimum in practice. Both packages list "5 seats included", and Cognism publishes no smaller package.
- Pro for the premium features. The comparison table ticks intent data, the premium mobile filter and on-demand mobile verification only for Pro.
- Add-ons. CRM Enrichment is sold "as a standalone product or as an add-on", at a price on request, and extra credits are bought on top of each seat's allocation.
- Contract terms aren't public. We found no customer subscription terms on cognism.com, only website terms, so ask in writing for the contract length, auto-renewal and notice period before you sign.
- No trial. You can request a free data sample, not a trial account.
Third-party price data
Vendr, the usual source for negotiated software prices, returned an error page (HTTP 404) for Cognism on 15 October 2026. Its last archived copy (Wayback Machine, 10 March 2026) was "Last updated Sep 23, 2025" and still described the old Grow and Elevate packages, so we don't quote it. Some other sites quote yearly list prices for Cognism, but the archived copies of Cognism's pricing page we checked, from 30 July to 9 October 2026, show no prices, so we leave those figures out.
Cheaper alternatives
Ordered by starting price: the lowest monthly US dollar price listed for the cheapest paid plan, whatever the billing term. Free plans don't count, and ties are alphabetical. All of these publish prices and sell monthly. Prices checked on 15 October 2026.
- Lusha. Starter costs $37.45 a month billed yearly or $49.90 monthly for one seat and 400 credits a month; an email costs 1 credit and a phone number 5 (pricing). Right for a small team that wants verified emails and phone numbers without a package of five seats; wrong if you need hundreds of phone numbers a month.
- Apollo. Free plan; Basic costs $49 per seat a month billed annually or $65 monthly, with 2,500 credits per seat a month and 8 credits per phone number (pricing). Right if you want data and sequences in one tool; wrong if you need many mobile numbers.
- Kaspr. Starter costs $49 per user a month billed annually or $65 monthly (€45 or €59), with unlimited B2B emails and 100 phone credits a month (pricing). Kaspr says it "is part of Cognism" (about). Right if you prospect from LinkedIn profiles with a Chrome extension; wrong if you need intent data, which Kaspr lists only on Enterprise.
- UpLead. Essentials costs $74 a month billed annually or $99 monthly for one user and 170 credits a month, with extra credits at $0.60 (pricing). Right if one person buys a few hundred verified contacts a month; wrong if several people need access.
- Leo by Revexa (ours). $99 a month in the US, €89 in Europe and 999 SEK in Sweden, excluding VAT, with 7 days free and no lock-in (pricing). Right if what you need is to reach companies when they show buying signals: Leo watches the signals and drafts LinkedIn messages and emails, which by default you approve; wrong if you need a contact database, phone numbers or list exports.

Cognism in Europe: GDPR and where the data is
- Location. Cognism's privacy policy says "Cognism stores personal data inside the European Union", and its trust center lists Amazon Web Services in Ireland for platform hosting. Data may still go to service providers, customers or affiliates outside the UK and EU, including the US, under Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Legal basis. Cognism relies on legitimate interest for its database, and says on its compliance page that it notifies business contacts "within GDPR timeframes" and checks its data against "15 major Do Not Call and TPS lists".
- Company. Cognism Limited is registered in England and Wales, with its registered address in London.
- Your own outreach. When you contact someone from a bought database, you need your own lawful basis, usually legitimate interest under GDPR art. 6.1 f, and Germany's UWG §7 requires prior consent for advertising email. See our GDPR guide. This is not legal advice.
Common questions
How much does Cognism cost?
Cognism publishes no prices. Its own blog gives Standard "starting at $12,750" and Pro "starting at $17,000", each with 5 seats, without stating the period. Ask for a quote with the term in writing.
Does Cognism have a free trial?
No trial is listed. Cognism offers a free data sample instead, so you can check its data on your own market before a call with sales.
How do Cognism credits work?
One credit reveals one contact. Viewing a revealed contact again is free, and a credit is used again only if that person changes jobs. Each seat includes credits, and more can be bought at any time.
What is the difference between Cognism Standard and Pro?
Pro adds intent data from Bombora (up to 12 topics), a premium mobile filter and on-demand mobile verification. Both include 5 seats, contact and company data, signals such as hiring and funding, and API access.
Is Cognism GDPR compliant?
Cognism relies on legitimate interest, notifies contacts and says it stores personal data inside the EU. That covers Cognism's side; you still need your own lawful basis for outreach. This is not legal advice.
