ZoomInfo alternatives 2026: 10 cheaper options compared

2026-10-15 · updated 2026-10-15 · 10 min read · Adam Axelsson, founder of Revexa

Teams look for ZoomInfo alternatives mainly over price and terms: ZoomInfo publishes no prices, Vendr puts the median contract at $33,500 a year, paid plans are billed annually with a seat minimum, and the license terms say the agreement "is not cancellable". The cheapest public prices are RocketReach from $33 a month for emails (the US price), and Lusha from $37.45 or Apollo from $49 per seat for emails and phone numbers, billed annually, with Kaspr from $65 billed monthly. For Europe, Cognism stores data in the EU and its help center lists do-not-call registries in 16 countries, Kaspr claims 200 million+ European contacts and Vainu covers the Nordics; no independent test compares them.

Checked on 15 October 2026 against each vendor's pricing, privacy and help pages. Revexa builds Leo, one of the tools below; it is not a contact database, so it has its own section after the list.

The table is ordered by starting price: the lowest monthly US dollar price a buyer in the US sees for the cheapest paid plan, whatever the billing term, with euros converted at the ECB rate of 15 October 2026 ($1.1208 per euro). Free plans don't count, ties are alphabetical, and tools without a public price come last.

Why teams look for ZoomInfo alternatives

From ZoomInfo's own pages (details in ZoomInfo pricing 2026):

  • No list price. Price depends on features, "Number of licenses" and "Credit usage" (pricing); Vendr's median is $33,500 a year across 1,577 purchases, from $7,240 to $156,042 (February 2026, Vendr).
  • Annual, with a seat minimum. "ZoomInfo paid plans are billed annually, not monthly", and "Paid plans include a minimum number of seats" (ZoomInfo).
  • Hard to leave. "The Agreement is not cancellable" (License Terms), and opting out of auto-renewal "must be completed at least 60 days before the renewal date" (help center).
  • Credits that expire. Monthly credits "can not be rolled over", bulk credits expire with the contract, and two users exporting the same record pay two credits (credits).
  • Weighted to North America. ZoomInfo lists 157.8M+ contacts in North America and 66M+ in Europe (data).

Two cheaper ways into ZoomInfo itself: Lite is free with 10 credits a month, 25 if you connect your business email, which ZoomInfo then synchronizes "with ZoomInfo's database" (Lite). GTM AI, its API and MCP access, is pay-as-you-go "from $20" with "no contract, no seat fees", but mobile numbers need an enterprise package (GTM AI).

The alternatives one by one

1. RocketReach

Email and phone lookups. Best for: one person who mainly needs verified emails. Wrong choice if: you need phone numbers; they start on Pro, $75 a month billed annually in the US ($52 from Sweden). Price: Essentials $33 a month billed annually in the US, or $19 and $39 monthly as shown from Sweden, 1,200 exports a year (pricing, 15 Oct 2026).

2. Hunter

An email finder and verifier with cold email sending. Best for: finding and verifying work emails. Wrong choice if: you need mobile numbers; the plans list email data only. Price: Starter $34 a month billed yearly or $49 monthly for a buyer in the US, and €34 or €49 in the EU (pricing, 16 Oct 2026).

3. Lusha

Self-serve contact data. Best for: small teams that want emails and some phone numbers without a sales call. Wrong choice if: you call a lot: a number costs 5 credits, so Starter's 400 monthly credits buy 80 (our calculation). Price: Starter $37.45 a month billed yearly or $49.90 monthly (pricing, 15 Oct 2026).

4. Apollo

A contact database with sequences and a dialer. Best for: startups wanting data and outreach in one tool. Wrong choice if: you need many mobile numbers (8 credits each) or EU hosting. Price: Basic $49 per seat a month billed annually or $65 monthly, with 2,500 credits per seat a month (pricing, 15 Oct 2026).

5. Kaspr

A Chrome extension that shows emails and phone numbers on LinkedIn profiles; Kaspr "joined Cognism in 2022" (about). Best for: reps prospecting in Europe who need direct numbers. Wrong choice if: one user needs over 100 phone numbers a month on Starter. Price: Starter $65 per user a month, billed monthly (€59 in Europe) (pricing, 16 Oct 2026).

6. Dropcontact

Finds and verifies work emails from a name and company website, without a contact database. Best for: enriching lists you already have. Wrong choice if: you need to find new people or mobile numbers. Price: Starter €66 a month billed yearly or €79 monthly for 500 credits (pricing, 15 Oct 2026).

7. UpLead

Emails and mobile numbers on credits. Best for: one user buying a few hundred contacts a month. Wrong choice if: several people need access; Essentials includes one user. Price: Essentials $74 a month billed annually or $99 monthly for 170 credits a month (pricing, 15 Oct 2026).

8. Leadfeeder

Called Dealfront until 24 March 2026 (FAQ); identifies companies visiting your website and adds company and contact data. Best for: turning website traffic into accounts. Wrong choice if: you mainly need contacts, which start on Activate at €369 a month billed annually. Price: Discover from €79 a month billed annually or €113 monthly; Lite is free (pricing, 15 Oct 2026).

9. Clay

Queries 150+ data providers in a waterfall. Best for: teams with a GTM engineer. Wrong choice if: nobody will build the workflows, or you expect a smaller bill at scale: Vendr's median Clay contract is $59,996 a year (Vendr). Price: Launch $167 a month billed annually or $185 monthly (pricing, 15 Oct 2026).

10. Vainu

Nordic company data from national registers, with decision-makers and triggers. Best for: selling in Sweden, Finland, Norway or Denmark. Wrong choice if: you sell outside the Nordics or want a self-serve trial. Price: Reach from €250 a month on an annual licence, one country database and one to two seats (pricing, 15 Oct 2026; more in Nordic B2B data tools).

11. Cognism (not necessarily cheaper, but European)

Contact data with phone-verified mobiles, sold on a quote. Best for: calling decision-makers across Europe. Wrong choice if: you want a public price or fewer than five seats. Price: not published; Cognism's blog gives Standard "starting at $12,750" and Pro "starting at $17,000", both with 5 seats (blog, 15 Oct 2026; see Cognism pricing).

ZoomInfo alternatives with European data: storage, sources and do-not-call lists

From the vendors' own documents:

  • Storage. Cognism "stores personal data inside the European Union" (privacy), Leadfeeder and Vainu host on AWS in Ireland (Leadfeeder, Vainu) and Hunter's servers "are located in Belgium" (privacy). ZoomInfo data "may be transferred to, and stored and processed in, the United States" (privacy); Apollo, Lusha, UpLead and Clay also host in the US.
  • Sources. Vainu uses national registers such as Bolagsverket, Leadfeeder links each item to its source, and ZoomInfo Lite and Apollo's Data Contributor Network draw on users' mailboxes (Apollo).
  • Do-not-call screening. Cognism's help center lists registries in 16 countries, Sweden, Norway and Finland included, while its compliance page names 12 (help center, compliance). Apollo screens six countries, in Europe the UK and Germany (Apollo); Lusha's docs name the UK and US, on Scale plans only (Lusha). Leadfeeder checks "public do-not-call (DNC) lists in many countries" without naming them.
  • Your own duties. Most vendors rely on legitimate interest, GDPR art. 6.1 f, and Article 14 requires you to inform the person "at the latest at the time of the first communication" (GDPR). Email rules are national; Germany's UWG §7 requires prior express consent for advertising email (cold email laws by country). This is not legal advice.

If what you want is meetings, not a database

Some teams buy ZoomInfo to fill a pipeline, not to own data. Leo by Revexa, our product, is a buying-signal agent, not a data tool: it builds your ideal customer profile from your website, watches signals such as hiring, funding, new executives in the buying role and engagement with competitors' LinkedIn posts, finds the right person and drafts LinkedIn messages and emails in your voice. By default you approve every draft before it is sent. It costs $99 a month in the US, €89 in Europe and 999 SEK in Sweden, excluding VAT, with 7 days free and no lock-in (pricing). Wrong choice if: you need lists to export, phone numbers to call or website visitor identification; it does none of those.

More prices: what 30 sales tools cost.

Common questions

What is the cheapest alternative to ZoomInfo?

RocketReach Essentials, $33 a month billed annually in the US, for emails only, then Hunter from $34. With phone numbers: Lusha from $37.45 a month billed yearly, Apollo from $49 per seat and Kaspr from $65. Apollo, Lusha, Kaspr, Hunter and Clay have free plans.

Is there a free version of ZoomInfo?

Yes. ZoomInfo Lite is free with 10 credits a month, or 25 if you connect your business email, which ZoomInfo synchronizes with its database. GTM AI gives 1,000 free data credits at sign-up.

Which ZoomInfo alternative is best for European data?

No independent test exists. By vendor claims: Cognism stores data in the EU and its help center lists do-not-call registries in 16 countries, Kaspr claims 200 million+ European contacts and Vainu covers the Nordics.

Can I cancel a ZoomInfo contract early?

No: the license terms say the agreement "is not cancellable". To leave when the term ends, opt out of auto-renewal at least 60 days before the renewal date.

Is Apollo a good ZoomInfo alternative for a startup?

Often, on price: a free plan, then $49 per seat a month billed annually, with sequences and a dialer. It publishes no country figures and hosts in the US, so test it on your market first.
