Best intent data providers 2026: 15 compared by price
2026-10-15 · updated 2026-10-15 · 11 min read · Adam Axelsson, founder of Revexa
The best intent data provider depends on the signal you need and your budget. Website visitor identification is free on Leadfeeder Lite and RB2B and costs under $100 a month billed annually at Snitcher, Albacross and Leadinfo; topic intent from Bombora's co-op has a Vendr median of $25,000 a year (Vendr); G2 Buyer Intent, 6sense and Demandbase publish no prices, and Vendr's medians for 6sense and Demandbase are $62,220 and $68,591 a year. To find companies ready to buy now, start with signals about you, such as visits to your pricing page and comparisons on G2, and use third-party topic surges to rank the rest: they show companies and at most roles, never a named buyer.
Checked on 15 October 2026 against each vendor's own pages. Revexa builds Leo, one of the tools below. The table is ordered by starting price, lowest first: the lowest published monthly price for one seat on a paid plan, in US dollars (annual plans at their monthly rate; euros converted at the ECB reference rate of 15 October 2026, $1.1208 per euro). Free plans don't count, and providers without a published price come last, alphabetically.
Five kinds of intent data
Intent data is recorded behavior suggesting that a company is researching a purchase; our intent data guide covers the basics. Five kinds are on sale:
- Third-party topic intent. A company reads more than usual about a topic across thousands of B2B sites. Bombora "continuously monitors company research activity against 25,300+ topics" (Bombora), and slices of it sit inside other tools: 1 topic on Apollo's free plan and 6 on Basic (Bombora), up to 12 on Cognism Pro and 6 on Common Room's Essential plan.
- Review-site and publisher intent. Research on a site that owns the audience: G2 Buyer Intent covers G2, Capterra, Software Advice and GetApp (G2 docs), and Informa TechTarget reports "58M+ permissioned members across 220 media properties" (TechTarget). The closest to an active evaluation (our judgement).
- First-party website intent. Companies visiting your own site, above all your pricing page. Entry plans run from free to about €113 a month; named people only for US traffic.
- Job ads and technographics. Hiring and changes to a tech stack: 6sense lists job postings and technographics in every package, ZoomInfo job posting changes and tech insights, Cognism hiring and technology usage. Much of it is public and free to check yourself.
- Social engagement. People who react to or comment on competitors' and industry voices' posts; Common Room, for example, tracks social and community engagement. It names a person but is weak on its own (our judgement).

Prices exclude VAT. Vendr's figures are medians of purchases in its database, updated in February 2026, and cover whole contracts, not only intent (sales tool pricing 2026). Also checked, not in the table: Common Room ($2,500 a month billed annually), Warmly ($10,000 a year; see Warmly alternatives), UserGems (contact-level intent only on Elite, $150,000 a year), Clay (web intent from Growth, $446 a month billed annually) and Unify (website intent on its custom Business plan).
Intent data under $200 a month
Eight providers in the table start below $200 a month, and four have free plans (pricing pages, 15 October 2026):
- Free: Leadfeeder Lite (100 identified companies a month), RB2B Free (company level), Apollo Free (1 Bombora topic) and a limited Buyer Intent view in free HubSpot accounts.
- Under $100: HubSpot Starter at $20 per seat (tracking a company costs 10 of its 500 monthly credits, about 50 companies by our calculation), Apollo Basic at $49 per seat billed annually with 6 Bombora topics, Snitcher at $49, Albacross at €59, Leadinfo at €69, RB2B at $79 and Leadfeeder at €79. If you want the outreach done rather than a feed, Leo by Revexa costs $99.
- Not available under $200: Bombora's own feed, G2 Buyer Intent and predictive platforms such as 6sense.
The catch: most cheap tools show who visits your own site, which is demand you already created. To see research before buyers reach you, the cheapest route is a topic slice in Apollo or HubSpot.
How to tell if an account is switching tools or evaluating software like yours
Review-site research is the most direct paid signal. G2 Buyer Intent fires when a company views a comparison page that includes your product, an alternatives page in your category, or a competitor's pricing, profile or compare page; a competitor's alternatives page "can indicate that the buyer is seeking alternatives for a product in your category" (G2 docs). TechTarget says Priority Engine shows "the exact technologies and vendors" prospects research (TechTarget), and Bombora topics "can include products, solutions, competitors and more" (Bombora).
Public signals are free: a job ad naming the migration, a new executive in the buying role, or a competitor's script appearing on the company's website. Our guide signs a company is switching software lists eight with free checks. One signal is a reason to look closer; two that agree are a reason to reach out (our judgement).
What intent data can't tell you
- Who the buyer is. G2 and HubSpot Buyer Intent work at company level, Bombora adds roles and seniority but no names, and the typical buying decision "now includes 13 internal stakeholders and nine external influencers" (Forrester, State of Business Buying 2026).
- How accurate it is. We found no independent, published test comparing these providers. Coverage figures come from vendors: RB2B states 15 to 20% contact-level coverage in the US on Starter and Pro, and Leadfeeder says it identifies "up to 45%" of visiting companies (RB2B, Leadfeeder). Treat accuracy figures without a published method as vendor claims.
- Whether research means budget. A surge can come from a student, a consultant or one employee writing a report (our judgement); use it to rank accounts that already fit.
- Whether it is fresh. Bombora's signals in Apollo are "refreshed weekly", and a signal left for weeks in a dashboard loses most of its value (our judgement).
Intent data in Europe: GDPR and consent
This is not legal advice.
- Website identification is company-level for European traffic. RB2B's person-level ID is "US-only", Apollo identifies site visitors as contacts in the US only, and Warmly lists "no personal-level anonymization in Europe" (RB2B, Warmly).
- Tracking scripts may need consent. Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive allows storing or reading information on a visitor's device only with consent, apart from narrow exceptions (EUR-Lex). Leadinfo recommends consent before its tracking code runs, and RB2B requires it for global company-level ID.
- Bought contacts bring duties. Data vendors cite legitimate interest or run notice programs (Cognism, ZoomInfo, Apollo). When you contact someone whose data came from a vendor, GDPR Article 14 requires the controller to inform them "at the latest at the time of the first communication" (EUR-Lex).
- Hosting differs. Leadfeeder and Leadinfo host in Ireland, HubSpot offers an EU data center in Germany, and 6sense transfers EU data under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
What changed in 2026
- 24 March: Dealfront became Leadfeeder, with no price changes (Leadfeeder).
- 12 August: 6sense ended its free Sales Intelligence plan (6sense RevCity).
- 22 October: Trigify, a signals tool whose team is joining HubSpot, closes for most customers (Trigify).
Common questions
How do I find B2B companies that are actually ready to buy right now?
Combine fit with a fresh signal about you: repeat visits to your pricing page (Leadinfo, Snitcher, HubSpot), a G2 comparison that includes your product, or a public event such as a new executive or a job ad in your category. Then let third-party topic data rank the rest of your list. No single source proves that a company is ready.
How can I tell which accounts are in-market before my competitors reach them?
Use signals that appear before a buyer contacts anyone: third-party topic surges (Bombora directly, or its topics inside Apollo, Cognism and Common Room), review-site research including competitors' pages (G2 Buyer Intent), and public hiring or leadership changes. Act within days; Bombora's signals in Apollo refresh weekly.
What is the cheapest intent data tool?
Leadfeeder, RB2B and Apollo have free plans, and free HubSpot accounts get a limited Buyer Intent view. Among paid plans, HubSpot Starter lists $20 per seat a month and Apollo Basic $49 per seat billed annually, with 6 Bombora topics.
Is intent data legal under GDPR?
It is sold and used in the EU, with conditions: tracking scripts may need consent under ePrivacy Article 5(3), and named contacts bring GDPR duties such as informing the person under Article 14. For European traffic, expect company-level identification. This is not legal advice.
