Salesloft alternatives 2026: 10 tools after the Clari merger

2026-10-16 · updated 2026-10-16 · 10 min read · Adam Axelsson, founder of Revexa

Salesloft and Clari completed their merger on 3 December 2025 and have used one brand, Salesloft, since 2 September 2026: cadences, conversation intelligence and Clari Forecast now come from one vendor, with no public prices and a median contract of $30,740 a year in Vendr's buyer data. The closest alternatives, Outreach and Gong, publish no prices either. For a small team, Smartlead starts at $32.50 a month billed yearly for email, Apollo and Reply.io at $49 per seat billed annually, and Close at $99 per user billed annually for calling plus workflows; for EU hosting, Gong and Outreach let new customers choose an EU data center.

Checked on 16 October 2026 against each vendor's own pages, Vendr and AWS Marketplace; US dollars, excluding tax. Revexa builds Leo, one of the tools below.

Order: the lowest monthly US dollar price a buyer in the US sees for the cheapest paid plan that runs sequences or an outreach agent, any billing term (for HubSpot and Close, the first plan with sequences or workflows). Free plans don't count, ties are alphabetical, and tools without a public price come last.

What the Clari merger changed, and why teams look elsewhere

From Salesloft's own pages (Salesloft pricing 2026 has the details):

  • One vendor, one contract. The merger closed on 3 December 2025 with Steve Cox as CEO (newsroom). Since 2 September 2026 "Salesloft is now the company and platform brand going forward", and "Clari Forecast retains the Clari name" (brand). One MSA has covered "Salesloft, Inc. and its Affiliates, including Clari Inc." since 10 February 2026 (MSA).
  • No public price. salesloft.com/pricing leads to a "Book time with us" page. Vendr's median is $30,740 a year (710 purchases, $5,152 to $146,494, February 2026), and Vendr says the platform requires a minimum seat count, typically 10 to 15 users (Vendr). Salesloft's AWS Marketplace listing shows $26,400 for a 12-month platform contract, without a user count (AWS).
  • Contract terms. Under the MSA "all fees are non-cancelable, will be invoiced in advance", and multi-year subscriptions "are committed for the entire duration of the Subscription Term" (MSA).
  • Security history. In 2025 a threat actor "obtained OAuth tokens for Drift customers' technology integrations"; Mandiant found no evidence "beyond limited reconnaissance" in the Salesloft application environment (trust center).

The alternatives one by one

1. Smartlead

Cold email with unlimited email accounts, priced on volume, not seats. Best for: teams that used Salesloft mainly for email volume. Wrong choice if: you need calls or forecasting, or CRM sync and the API, which start on Pro at $94 a month ($78.30 billed yearly). Price: Base $39 a month or $32.50 billed yearly, for 2,000 contacts and 6,000 emails a month (pricing, 16 Oct 2026).

2. Apollo

A contact database with sequences and a US dialer that uses credits. Best for: a small team that wants data and cadences; Basic lists no seat minimum. Wrong choice if: you send at volume (Basic allows 1 mailbox per user and 250 emails a day) or need hosting outside the US. Price: Basic $49 per seat a month billed annually or $65 monthly; free plan with 2 sequences (pricing, 16 Oct 2026).

3. Reply.io

Email sequences on Email Volume; email, LinkedIn, calls and SMS on Multichannel. Best for: multichannel cadences without an annual contract. Wrong choice if: you want processing in the EU, since Reply's DPA says it processes "as a general rule" in the United States. Price: Email Volume $49 per user a month billed annually or $59 monthly for 1,000 active contacts; Multichannel $89 or $99 (pricing; Reply.io pricing).

4. lemlist

Email sequences for unlimited users; Multichannel adds LinkedIn, calls and SMS per user. lemlist says its data is stored on servers in France, hosted by OVH (help center), though its DPA (v1.4.2) lists some US sub-processors, such as Intercom and optional AI providers (DPA). Best for: European teams that want cadences on EU servers. Wrong choice if: many reps need LinkedIn: Multichannel costs $87 per user a month billed yearly ($109 monthly). Price: Email $55 a month billed yearly or $69 monthly for 50,000 emails (pricing, 16 Oct 2026).

5. HubSpot Sales Hub

A CRM with sequences and forecasting from Professional; HubSpot's pricing guide lists no sequences on Free or Starter. Best for: CRM, cadences and forecasts in one system instead of Salesloft plus Clari. Wrong choice if: you want a light tool: Professional adds a one-time $1,500 onboarding fee. Price: Professional $90 per seat a month billed annually or $100 monthly, US list prices (guide, updated 9 September 2026).

6. Close

A CRM with built-in calling, SMS and email; workflows and a power dialer start on Growth. Best for: small teams that make many calls. Wrong choice if: you need sequences on a cheap plan: Solo and Essentials list "Workflows not included". Price: Growth $99 per user a month billed annually or $109 monthly, plus calls and SMS at cost (pricing, 16 Oct 2026).

7. Leo by Revexa (ours)

A buying-signal agent, not a cadence tool: it builds your ideal customer profile from your website, watches signals such as hiring, funding and new executives, finds the right person and drafts LinkedIn messages and emails in your voice, which you approve by default. Best for: small B2B teams that want outreach on fresh signals, approved by a person. Wrong choice if: you need cadences for a team of reps, a dialer, forecasting, a contact database or website visitor identification; it does none of these. Price: $99 a month in the US, €89 in Europe and 999 SEK in Sweden, excluding VAT; 7 days free, no lock-in (pricing).

8. Amplemarket

Contact data, multichannel sequences, a dialer and the Duo copilot in one contract. Best for: two reps who want data and sequences together. Wrong choice if: you want monthly billing (Startup has an annual term) or EU hosting (US-based data centers). Price: Startup $600 a month on an annual term with 2 users; Growth and Elite are quoted (pricing; Amplemarket pricing).

9. Gong

Conversation intelligence plus Gong Engage for outreach and Gong Forecast, priced per user plus "a platform fee based on the number of users supported" (pricing). Best for: teams replacing both Salesloft and Clari Forecast with one suite. Wrong choice if: you want a public price or a small contract. Price: not published; Vendr's median is $55,359 a year across 1,145 purchases, from $11,497 to $203,683 (March 2026, Vendr).

10. Outreach

Sequences, AI agents, conversation intelligence and, on Amplify Pro, forecasting. Best for: larger teams that want Salesloft's depth from a vendor outside the merger. Wrong choice if: you want to leave annual commitments behind: orders are "non-cancelable and non-refundable" and renew for 12 months. Price: not published; Vendr's median is $45,600 a year, and Outreach's AWS offer of 50 seats for $108,000 a year is $180 per seat a month (our calculation; Outreach pricing).

Salesloft alternatives and data in Europe

From the vendors' own documents:

  • Salesloft. In 2021 it said new EU customers' data would be "stored in our Frankfurt, Germany data center" (newsroom). Clari's sub-processor list gives "USA" for all 22 entries, AWS and Google Cloud included (list), and the DPA allows transfers outside the EEA under the Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. Ask where Clari Forecast data is stored.
  • EU options. "New Gong customers can decide to store their data in data centers in either the US or EU", with the US as default (Gong help). Outreach offers EU hosting in Dublin at sign-up, HubSpot runs an EU data center, and lemlist names servers in France (its DPA lists some US sub-processors). Smartlead stores EU and UK data "in data centres located inside and outside the European Union and the UK" (DPA).
  • US hosting. Apollo, Reply.io and Amplemarket; Close's DPA has standard contractual clauses for transfers outside the EEA.
  • Your own outreach. In the EU this usually rests on legitimate interest, GDPR art. 6.1 f, and Germany's UWG §7 requires prior express consent for advertising email. This is not legal advice.

Common questions

Is Salesloft part of Clari now?

Yes. The merger closed on 3 December 2025, and since 2 September 2026 Salesloft is the company and platform brand; Clari Forecast keeps its name. One MSA has covered both companies since 10 February 2026.

What is the closest alternative to Salesloft?

Outreach for sales engagement, and Gong if you also want conversation intelligence and forecasting from one vendor. Neither publishes prices: Vendr's medians are $45,600 a year for Outreach and $55,359 for Gong, against $30,740 for Salesloft.

What is a cheaper Salesloft alternative for a small team?

Apollo and Reply.io start at $49 per seat a month billed annually, or $65 and $59 monthly. Smartlead costs $32.50 a month billed yearly for email only, and Close's Growth plan, with workflows and a power dialer, costs $99 per user billed annually.

Which Salesloft alternatives can host data in the EU?

Gong and Outreach let new customers choose an EU data center, HubSpot runs one, and lemlist says it stores data on servers in France, though its DPA lists some US sub-processors. Salesloft has offered Frankfurt to new EU customers since 2021, but lists every Clari sub-processor in the USA.

Can I cancel Salesloft early?

Not under the standard MSA: fees are non-cancelable, and multi-year subscriptions are committed for the whole term. You can terminate for a material breach left uncured for 30 days, with a pro rata refund of prepaid fees.
